Ghost Lake and Boat Rentals

Ghost Lake in the Fall

Wisconsin’s Only Quiet Lakes

Ghost Lake is part of Wisconsin’s Quiet Lakes. They are three sparkling gems set deep in the unspoiled wilderness of the Chequamegon National Forest. Ghost Lake is especially unique because it is surrounded by national forest making it very serene and perfect for canoeing and kayaking.

There is a 10 MPH speed limit (no motor size limit) prohibiting water-skiing and jet skis which makes these lakes unique to the Midwest and Wisconsin’s Northwoods. Ghost Lake does have an ordinance allowing water-sports for a few hours during the afternoon.
